Adding Video to Your Wiki Page





When you are building your wiki you will most likely find yourself wanting to use a video. You can always add a link to the page with your video and let the user navigate to the page. But, what about embedding the video directly in your wiki? You can embed the video in just a few steps.


1. Place the cursor where you would like the video to appear

2. Select the Widget icon from the editor toolbar

3. In the Widgets tool, select Video from the side menu and choose your video service or click Other.

4. In a separate browser window or tab, navigate to your video. Look for something that says “Embed” (or maybe "Share"), followed by a piece of code. Copy this code.

5. Back on your wiki page, paste the copied code into the field in the Widget tool. Hit Save.

6. Click on the embedded widget (in editor mode, it will be a blue square) to get the Widget Properties popup, and adjust the alignment and size of your video. Finally save your wiki page.
